History of Family

      Family is a branch of social history that concerns the sociocultural evolution of kinship groups from prehistoric to modern times. The family has a universal and basic role in all societies. Research on the history of the family crosses disciplines and cultures, aiming to understand the structure and function of the family from many viewpoints. For example, sociological, ecological or economical perspectives are used to view the interrelationships between the individual, their relatives, and the historical time. The study of family history has shown that family systems are flexible, culturally diverse and adaptive to ecological and economic conditions.  Having a family is very special gift from God. It is a gift that you will be always thankful that you have a family. I am the one who was been thankful that God give me a clan or a family to be with. A clan that was also called as “SOL CLAN”. Meting them every year was very fun. It is like we are family that just seen each other for the very first time. I am one of the lucky persons in this world, because I have a wealth of love from my family.

Our reunion saved for the best. Having them in your life is a very special moment. The fun in the reunion was keep not only in our mind but also in our heart. I am so blessed that I experience being with this kind of family. It was full of laughter’s and also tears because of too much happiness. The joyful moment every year is enough to leave stress, pain and any struggles in life. It was only day in every year, but it has huge impact in each one of us. You will never see a sadness in our eyes that time. You could only the happiness in that reunion. If only covid-19 doesn’t exist, we will create more joyful moment in our reunion every year.

OUR REUNION WAS DIVIDED IN TO DIFFERENT PARTS AND ACTIVITIES:

Prayer

Before starting the big event, we start with a prayer. We used the ACT (Adoration, Confession and Thanksgiving)

Boodle Fight

Second was boodle fight, we use to do it every time we are having a reunion. It is part of the activity. Also, food was a gift from our almighty God.

Games

Games will not be removed in every reunion. There are so many games that we played every reunion. But charades were the games that will never be missing.

Messages

Messages was there in our family reunion. We give our thought and different things we wanted to tell to everyone.

Movie Marathon

We all watch different movies especially the horror movies.

Lantern

At night every family has its own lantern. Every wishes and prayers of the family was given before letting go of the lantern.

Drinking Liquors

That was the last part of our reunion getting drunk. But only boys get drunk and girls was cleaning the whole place

We may be a small number of families, but we are too big families if you look deep in our heart. Every families and reunion has its own story, and we are one who make it. We make our reunion a memorable one. Every hour, minutes and second of that they was important. We create our own story of families. But the differences of every family is how they create it as time goes by. On our reunion we make it a memorable day. A day we seize the moment. It may happen in just one day but looking to it deeply you were just realized that it happened so slow. I am so glad that we make our reunion the happiest. We will continue to do it. It is not the end of our happiness in the Reunion. We are getting started. We will continue on making a happy chapter of every one’s life. And I will be grateful to know if you could also make your own story of family. Not a story of loneliness or sadness. But a story of a family full of loved and joy that you share with one another.
